Women in Healthcare Central Virginia is hosting their first event in the region. Join us to hear recent updates in behavioral health legislation from our phenomenal group of speakers. Enjoy an informational session regarding the organization and what Women in Healthcare is all about, followed by a great panel, and terrific networking with your peers.

Speakers:

Moderated by Sarah Stanton, Manager – Education, Health, Welfare and Special Projects Section, Virginia Division of Legislative Services, Senator R. Creigh Deeds, Chairman of the Joint Subcommittee to Study Mental Health Services in the Commonwealth in the 21st Century, Jennifer Faison, Executive Director of the Virginia Association of Community Services Boards, and Dr. Michelle Zavage, Behavioral Psychiatrist, will discuss:

Recent efforts to improve access to and the quality of mental health services in the Commonwealth,

The impact of those efforts on pubic and private providers of mental health services, and

Opportunities for future growth and development.
