A Fireside Chat with Phyllis Goetz, Texas Chapter President & President of Kimball

The journey to leadership is not always easy. There are successes and failures. Along the way our career takes turns and gives us moments of reflection. When we encounter a crisis, our next step is often our best guess. How do we regroup? What path does our leadership journey take during and after a crisis? Where do we turn for advice and guidance?

Phyllis Goetz is the President of Kimball and the President of the Texas Chapter of Women in Healthcare. Her leadership journey has faced many of the same challenges and successes we have encountered and are currently facing. Please join us for a fireside chat with Phyllis on April 30th to hear her career story, what she has learned in her 30-year career and her leadership experiences during the current Coronavirus pandemic. Attendees will have the opportunity to propose questions during the fireside chat to further the conversation.

Phyllis Goetz has 30 years of in-depth experience in the commercial furniture industry specifically driving accelerated growth and strategic partnerships within the healthcare, commercial and design communities. Phyllis previously held the role of Sr. VP, Chief Development Strategist at HKS, Inc. Architects. Prior to that she held multiple leadership roles in Healthcare at Herman Miller and as one of the founders of Nurture, Steelcase’s Healthcare business line.

Our very own Meg Honigberg, Regional Business Development Specialist at the Christman Company and President of the DC Chapter, will be moderating this discussion.
