Thank you to everyone who applied for the 2026 Women in Healthcare Emerging Leaders Scholarship. The application period for this year’s scholarship has now closed.

This award provides access to the WIH organization, not financial assistance. Recipients receive a complimentary one-year Women in Healthcare (WIH) membership. No funds or tuition assistance will be awarded.
Scholarship Details
The Emerging Leaders Scholarship is for rising leaders who exhibit a passion for the healthcare industry, gender equity, and want to be a part of a supportive community. Through this program, recipients gain access to WIH’s network, programming, and community.
Each recipient of the Emerging Leaders Scholarship will receive a one-year Women in Healthcare membership.
Eligibility Requirements
You may apply for the scholarship if you meet the following criteria:
- You are a student or professional focused in the healthcare industry.
- Membership cost creates financial hardship, no backing by current employer for membership fee.
- You are not a previous recipient of this scholarship.
- You meet the qualifications of a Women in Healthcare member.
Award
The Emerging Leaders Scholarship awards a fully covered one-year Women in Healthcare (WIH) membership to selected applicants. This program provides access to WIH’s network, resources, and community and is not a financial scholarship.
The Women in Healthcare Advisory board will award scholarships to the top candidates that prove need, drive, and support the mission of the organization. Each application will be reviewed blindly and ranked by the selection committee based on these qualifiers. It is important to the Women in Healthcare community that the scholarship is awarded in a way that promotes equity, diversity, and inclusion.
